This section of the web site is designed for intercessors who like to understand the spiritual background of a nation.

The land of Iraq has been occupied since the days of the Garden of Eden, which was probably situated just to the north of Iraq. It was here outside the garden that the first blood was shed in violence - that of Abel at the hands of Cain, his brother.

Violence has been a theme of this land ever since, Baghdad having been plundered many times in its history. The Iran / Iraq war of the 1980's saw horrific loss of life, and now the current violence sees the death toll rise daily.

A number of researchers are looking into aspects of Iraq's history and we will post this research on the site as they become available.
